    Hello,
Have you been selling gold recently? Now it is easy to look back and say that it was optimal time to sell gold this spring when gold was 1000USD and now something like 700-750 USD.

I Suggest you get one also (olympic gold maple leaf) If i’m not mistaken from the article i’ve read the Royal Canadian mint Agree on only minting it for 3 years 2008-2010 50,000 each year. So imagine the # of collectors out there striving to get their hands on it :D ,

I’m already looking at a few other coins i wanna buy,
    The Vienna Philharmonic
    The Golden Bufflo
    The Suisse gold bar
and i CAN’T get my eyes off the 27 PANDAs From China :(

    Your right its so addictive

I’m into the Purity of the metals, either 99.99% pure gold or silver. Otherwise they must be a rare collection like only limited amount are minted and that’s it.

But yeah, i’m gonna look around some jewerly store for some Gold Bullions or coins.

But yeah i’ll definitely check out northwest Ter for silver. Thanks for the Tip!

wow sounds like you know what your doing keep it up. Try Northwestern Territorial Mint, they have great deals on sivler bullion.

What if sw640 owns a shotgun and decides that he’s not going to let the government take his coins or his family?

If you want an answer they will have to pull the gold from my cold dead left hand along with my gun in my right hand. Gold and precious metals will never be worth zero.

My post wasn’t a ‘comment’ – I was looking for answers to my questions.

However I will make a comment – Obama no better than the rest of them – Democracy is dead thanks to the so called Patriot Acts.

  14. sw640 on November 5th, 2008 11:55 am

what if obama gets in through acorn scams and dumb liberals and we lose our American freedom? Thanks for your positive comment zyby.

What will you do if gold and silver is made illegal again? The prices may disconnected with demand – my guess is the authorities will pay an artificially induced lower value in paper as ‘compensation’.

Will you hand your stash over for a pittance – or risk confiscation, imprisonment, a fine and zero compensation?

I just bought some one ounce platinum eagles. I could’nt resist Plat. was at 2252.00 an ounce in Feb 08, and it dropped below 1000.00
Take advantage and buy buy buy as much precious metals NOW while prices are low. I am having a hard time most places are out of stock on gold, silver and platinum.

Right! Physical gold is the way to go these days. I’m about to start a collection myself.

I bought most of my gold when it was around 350 to 600 an ounce. now I cant afford much gold but I by as much silver as possible. Gold is the currency of kings and silver the currency of the common people. I just picked up a 2007 britania and ten ounce bars.

Hi, I’m looking into collecting some Gold Coins like the ones you got there, but the 1oz gold coins is gonna cost me A LOT, As a student i’ve only got a good dozen and a half of the 1oz Pure Fine Silver coins, Do you recommend me geting 1/2 or 1/4 oz gold coins to start off my gold collection? or just jump to the pure 24k 1oz coins?

  23. sw640 on November 19th, 2008 6:46 am

I actually enjoy collecting coins and precious metals. I just happened to make a nice profit. I really like coins because they are pieces of art and history that can be held in your hands. I would get more gold but as you know gold is around 840 an ounce, I’m sticking to stocking up on silver little by little. Thanks for the great comment.

Hi sw640. Can i ask – do you buy these purely as an investment? or is it partly as a fun collection? Just wondering! I have about 20oz myself – i originally purchased just for bullion value, but am finding myself increasingly interested in collecting different coins (stuck entirely to maples, eagles and krugerrands before)
